Welder / Fabricator

JOB ROLE:

​We are looking for a motivated and experienced Welder / Fabricator to expand our talented workshop team.

​

You will be working with our team doing general metal & fabrication work we provide to other small businesses, as well as assisting in the manufacture of commercial mowing & slashing equipment and truck bodies.

​

The nature of your work will be varied and sheet metal skills & previous experience with body building would be a benefit but are not essential.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • High-Quality weldments on a range of different products.

  • Manufacture of our products in accordance with customer requirements & CitiQuip standards.

  • Operation of production machinery, as necessary.

  • Forklifting to designated areas.

  • Show ability to adhere to site safety requirements.

HARD SKILLS:

  • Previous steel fabrication experience (essential)

  • Familiar with production equipment and machinery

  • Proficient in understanding and being able to work from CAD drawings

  • Forklift and Heavy Rigid license beneficial

  • Sheet metal skills also an advantage

SOFT SKILLS:

  • Proactive thinking

  • Able to work efficiently with minimal supervision as well as in a team

  • A reasonable level of agility

  • Taking pride in work output & attention to detail

  • A mechanical aptitude

  • Self-driven, punctual, have a good work ethic and a positive attitude
